I am the Dean and Head of House of Graduate House at St Paul’s College at the University of Sydney.

I am a Research Associate of the Department of Zoology at the University of Oxford, and my continuing research is focused primarily on learning and cognition in birds, primarily using mallard ducklings as a model. I am broadly interested in animal minds, how the brain represents and interprets information, and the applications of animal cognition research to artificial intelligence.
